Approving or Rejecting Measurements

As a specifier, you can communicate with your supplier by approving or rejecting a measurement made against a colour standard within an assignment.

  1. Click on Assignments
  2. Click on the Assignment you wish to approve or reject a measurement in
  3. Click on the Measurements tab
  4. Click on the measurement you want to approve or reject
  5. In the top-right corner of the popup, click on either Approve or Reject.

The user that uploaded the measurement(s) will now see that the status has changed for the selected measurement to either "Approved by customer" or "Rejected by customer".

Note: In case the assignment was created with "Automatic approval by CAPQ", the measurements will be automatically set to the relevant status depending on whether or not the measurement was within or outside of the tolerance values for the colour standard(s).
