Finalizing an Instrument Connection

Once the samples have been measured, the two exported files should be imported into CAPQ and the instrument connection finalized.

  1. Log into CAPQ
  2. Click on the user logo in the main menu
  3. Click on “Account”
  4. Click on Instruments
  5. Locate the instrument you are connecting (the instrument should be in a “Pending” state)
  6. Open the Options menu and click on “Connect”
  7. Verify that the “Connection Set ID” is the same as the one printed on the connection set measured
  8. Upload the A and B measurement files from your computer
  9. Verify the connection results by making sure that the average dE00 is within tolerance limits
  10. Finalize the instrument connection
  11. Optional: You can give the instrument a meaningful description, note and location by opening the Options menu and click on “Edit description”
