Introduction to Assignments

Distribution of digital colour standards in CAPQ is made through assignments. Assignments can contain one or many colour standards and can be for internal use or distributed to suppliers. All assignments also belong to a project. It is either a default project or according to your naming in case you want to organize your assignments.

This section describes how to create and manage projects and assignments in order to control who has access to what colour standards.

Once an assignment has been created and distributed internally or to one or more of your suppliers, you can manage certain parameters within the assignment in case you need to make changes.

Colour standards that are distributed within assignments are called project colours.

Note: Only an assignment owner can edit the assignment. If you do not see the “Edit” option for an assignment, that means that either you do not have the correct permissions, or your company is not the owner of the assignment.
